Nine Common faults and solutions of automatic water pump controller

2020-06-16

J&T Industry Co., Ltd. is a leading specialists in the manufacture of water pumps and its accessories. Today, we will share you something about the knowledge of one of the water pump accessories we sold-the common faults and solutions of automatic water pump controller.

The common faults of automatic water pump controller

First, the system can not hit the water

A. Check whether there is water in the pool, whether the motor is running, the motor steering and the inverter may be redirected;

B. If the check valve is at the front end of the motor, if there is water at the front end of the check valve, and the water in the motor is drained;

C. Disassemble the water pump and check whether the welding impeller is broken. This situation is generally noisy.

Second, the pressure cannot be balanced, how to solve it

If the water consumption fluctuates greatly, or if the water supply pipe is too thin, it is not easy to handle. You can try to reset the PID parameters of the system and change the position of the automatic water pump controller.

Third, The switch often trips or fails to close

Failure analysis: 1. Switch aging 2. Switch selection is not correct, 3. Pump jamming or motor circuit problems 4. Line aging, short circuit, too small or missing phase.

Solution: Turn off the power of the control system, and then use a winding motor to check whether the three phases of the circuit are short-circuited or grounded (note during measurement: the output end of the inverter should be removed to avoid burning the inverter output module during testing Bad); Turn the motor by hand to see if it is stuck; replace the switch if necessary.

Four, the contactor is noisy

Failure analysis: due to the sand rust on the armature surface of the contactor, the contact surface is uneven, and then the lack of phase causes the contactor, switching frequency conversion and other components to burn out.

Solution: Turn off the load switch of the contactor, and quickly open and close the contactor manually. After repeated many times, if the sound is still not removed, the armature needs to be removed and smoothed or replaced with a new contactor.

Firth. Thermal relays often trip

Failure analysis: 1. Motor overload 2. Selection mismatch 3. Aging or main line is too small

Solution: See if the selection of the motor and the thermal relay match; check whether the motor is overloaded, and determine whether the phenomenon occurs during normal use of the motor. If necessary, replace the new main line.

Sixth, the inverter often reports faults

Fault analysis: 1. Incorrect parameter setting 2. Aging of the inverter 3. Overload of the water pump 4. Missing phase 5. Loose circuit

Solution: Reset the inverter first. If the same fault occurs again within a short time, it means that the inverter cannot continue to work until the work is released. The fault code generated by the inverter is recorded, and the fault is solved according to the manual, and the circuit is all tightened once; measure the three-phase current to see if it is balanced. The lack of phase of the power supply causes the input end of the frequency converter to burn out or the frequency conversion to age, and the frequency converter needs to be replaced.

Seventh. The output and input points of the automatic water pump controller are abnormal or cannot operate normally

Failure analysis: 1. The input and output points of the automatic water pump controller frequently operate for a long time, causing the internal contacts of the controller to burn. 2. Because the contact passes through a strong current. 3. Program error or controller has burned out

Solution: Need to update the automatic water pump controller's program, change the burned input and output points to the spare contacts through software, and replace the controller if necessary

Eighth. Unstable pressure and large fluctuations

Failure analysis: 1. The parameters of the controller are not adjusted well; 2. The efficiency of the pump is too low

Solution: 1. Reset the controller parameters; 2. Replace the more efficient water pump

Ninth, the system is good and bad, can not run normally

Failure analysis: the line is loose; the components are aging

Solution: Check the line, tighten the line, check the components, and replace if necessary.
